Most people have no idea that anxiety can be resolved. Here's the story of one of my most recent clients and how he turned things around. Let's call him Bob.
He Didn't Know How Fast He Could Be Free...
When Bob called me just one month ago, he was in tears. I dropped what I was doing so I could help. Anxiety had sent him into a downward spiral. The list of symptoms was as familiar to me as it probably is to you:
- Overwhelmed with fear and worry
- Terrified he wasn't going to be able to break free

We met the next day. Together we began to explore how his mind was producing the anxiety. Anxiety has a mental structure... you have to do certain things with your mind to experience anxiety, and I showed him what he was doing so he could STOP IT!
Anxiety feels like such a difficult problem, because you feel stuck with it. You can't see how you do it, and so it's impossible to step out of it.
But when you discover how it works, the symptoms make perfect sense. The problem is, that sort of thinking is just beyond the scope of what you can see when you have this sort of problem.
As we spoke, he made various discoveries about how he was creating his own anxiety problem. But awareness doesn't solve the problem. Once we both understood where the anxiety was coming from, we worked together to change the way his mind was processing information. With different techniques and processes, we changed the way he was thinking and programmed in new ways of processing the same information.
The result? Fears turned into thoughts, and just one month later he was feeling fantastic.
Why Most Other Methods Fail Miserably
Trying to beat your anxiety with will-power alone will never work. You can try to meditate, tell yourself, "Be calm, be calm!" and even try deep breathing exercises. But none of these work because the anxiety is the result of unconscious programming.
If you try to fight it with will-power, it will just fight back. You know it's true because you've experienced it: resistence leads to persistence. The only way to conquer anxiety is to change your unconscious programming.
Most methods focus on understanding why you have anxiety. A therapist will question, question, question, taking you back into the past so you can find the cause of your anxiety... The belief is that insight will lead to change. That sounds great, but it doesn't work!
The key to resolving anxiety and panic is to determine how it works. The mind works perfectly, doing exactly what it is programmed to do. When we find how you are producing anxiety over and over again, we can do what it takes to change it. I know this is true because my clients are living proof.

What most people don't know is that anxiety is learned. You weren't born with anxiety... it was something you learned how to do either from experienced or from role models such as parents. What you need to realize is that if you can learn it, you can unlearn it and learn to do something better!
